No one knows why bad things happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun. For now it will have to remain the painful mystery that it is.

We are so sorry to hear the news about Angelica. Angelica is in our thoughts and prayers.

Words cannot express the how deeply sad I am to hear about Angelica's death.

May our beautiful memories sustain and bring comfort to us during this difficult season.

My heart is filled with sadness.

May memories of Angelica sustain and strengthen us as we navigate the difficult days ahead.

I would like to leave you with the often quoted words of the poet Ellen Brenneman, “We can’t know why the lily has so brief a time to bloom in the warmth of sunlight’s kiss upon its face before it folds into its fragrance and bids the world good night to rest its beauty in a gentler place.”

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral services and expressed your condolences and well wishes to us her family.

No parents ever think they will outlive their children. No one knows why bad things happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun. For now it will have to remain the painful mystery that it is.

We are all so sorry to hear the news about our daughter, sister, and mother. Angelica, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Words cannot express the how deeply sorry I am to hear about Angelica's death. My deepest sympathy for our loss to all.

May our beautiful memories of Angelica sustain and bring us comfort during this difficult time.

My heart is filled with sadness.

The memories of Angelica will strengthen us. It hurts me that I was not able to come. Even though I am so far away I am there with you.

In thinking about our loss, I would like to leave us with the often quoted words of the poet Ellen Brenneman, “We can’t know why the lily has so brief a time to bloom in the warmth of sunlight’s kiss upon its face before it folds into its fragrance and bids the world good night to rest its beauty in a gentler place.

Finally , I want to thank everyone who was part of Angelica's life and came to pay respect to her.

Your Father,
Mario C. Martinez
