Farris-Pederson, Tracy Dee
Obituary
Our Precious Tracy Pederson died Monday October 21st surrounded by her family at Baylor Plano Hospital. A Loving wife, mother, sister and friend who knew the Lord and that he would be there with arms open to give her the peace and rest she so yearned. Born in Dallas, Texas Tracy was a long-time resident of Allen. Survived by her husband Glenn, son Nolan, daughter Kadee, brothers John, Wally and Frank Farris and their spouses. She was a sweet aunt and great aunt to numerous nephews and nieces who loved Aunt Tracy with all their hearts. Preceded in death by her mother Dorothy who was surely there with open arms and smile right beside our Lord, as well as her Incredible nephew Drew Farris. It gives us great comfort in knowing she is with Mom and Drew who will be watching over us all. Tracy struggled for many years with anxiety and depression, inherent in the family. She self-medicated with alcohol that in the end caused her life to be over at 55, too young. This disease along with the results of heavy smoking and inconsolable grief from the loss of her mother in April, ravished her tiny body. Denial is a powerful enemy in the battle of alcoholism for everyone involved. As a Family we feel it important to share her life in hopes that it brings awareness to anxiety and depression and to recognize the impact of self-medicating. In lieu of Flowers we ask that you make a donation in her name to any Charity that actively supports treatment for depression. A Private Memorial Service is pending. This tragic loss will forever change our lives. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.

I’m so very sad. Tracy was always so precious and loved her family greatly. Sweet and kind, Tracy was always loving. You’re Home now Tracy, and you can rest now. Tell Drew that I miss him, but I’ll see him again. Much love and peace to all who will miss her.
Bob and I are so sorry for your loss. My God wrap his arms around you and comfort you in this time of sadness.
Pam I am very sorry for the loss of your sister in law. May God comfort you and your family during this time
I am in shock Tracy was the very first person we met in 1994 hen we moved on valley view in Allen. She was the sweetest lady. Our kids played together so much. Ashley and I were just talking 2 days ago about how that was our favorite neighborhood and people in Allen. On that special street with such wonderful memories we will treasure forever. Prayers for Glenn Nolan and Kadee and all her family.
John and Pam,
Tom & I are out of the country, but just today viewed Tracy’s obituary. No words can express our sorrow, yet we are gladdened by our fond memories of Tracy’s radiant smile, beautiful eyes and her kind spirit. We remember the first time we were introduced to your family; Dorothy and Tracy won our hearts. We fondly remember how excited we became each time we all got together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Love you more! Katie &Tom and Family

So very, very sorry for your loss. Losing a mother is one of the most difficult thing to do in one’s life. Especially, when it is early in life, for the family. I, unfortunately, lost my mother when she was 51 due to lung cancer. My most sincerest heartfelt sympathy to all.
