Obituary
Joe was born in Dallas Texas to Joseph and Florene Wells. He was the youngest of three and the only boy. Joe and his two sisters grew up in Dallas. He attended St. James Catholic School and South Oak Cliff High School. He honorably served in the United States Air Force Strategic Air Command, stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene Texas, assigned to an Atlas Missile crew. As a civilian he worked as a diesel mechanic and retired from Central Freight in Irving Texas after 33 years. Joe and his wife had seven children, four sons, three daughters and many grand children and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by one son and two daughters, both his parents and one sister. Joe loved to be in the middle of things, including poker games, football games and dinners. He was a loving Christian who also loved being with his family. His family cared deeply for him and his well being. Pending services will be held at the National Cemetery with full military honors and interment in the mausoleum.
