Freeman, Sue D.
Obituary
After courageously battling cancer, Sue Dee Freeman, of Irving, Texas, went home to be with the Lord, on January 25, 2020. Sue was born on November 30, 1947 and spent most her childhood in Iowa, but called Texas home for much of her life. She was married to Melvin Lee Freeman on March 1st 1975 and they enjoyed 45 years of happiness, laughter, and wonderful memories, prior to her passing. Sue was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, always placing her family’s needs before her own, no matter the circumstances. She was the embodiment of unconditional love, always providing words of encouragement, positivity and direction, with a little humor mixed in. Sue was also a passionate dog lover, breeding and caring for a multitude of dogs over the years. Her kind heart touched so many over the years. Sue was the kind of person that if she could help you, she would. Sue is survived by her loving husband Melvin Freeman, daughter Melissa Freeman, son Grady Freeman and wife Heather, and granddaughter Jade Miles, as well as her brother Michael Liebbe and wife Vickie, and brother William “Bill” Liebbe and wife Penny, and a host of nieces, nephews and fur babies. Sue is preceded in death by her parents William “Bill” Liebbe and Dee Liebbe. A private service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the animal charity of your choice or the American Cancer Society. The family of Sue Dee Freeman wishes to thank the dedicated doctors and medical professionals who provided the best possible care.
