Obituary
Donald Lange was born February 7th, 1932. He passed away on his 88th birthday on February 7th, 2020. He was born at home in Chicago Heights, IL to parents William F. and Mabel Lange. On June 9th, 1956 he married Diane Marie (Mimi) Lang at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake, IL. Mrs. Lange died on May 12th, 2017. Mr. Lange was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany with the 2nd armored Division from 1952-1954. He was a 1949 graduated of Bloom High School in Chicago Heights, IL then attended Valparaiso University in Indian and graduate with a B.A. degree in 1957. In 1990 he retired from Hiram Walker-Gooderham and Worts, Ltd in Windsoer, Ontario Canada where he served as that companies Corporate International Risk and Insurance Manager. Prior to that he held similar positions with several large corporations in Illinois and Ohio. Prior to moving to Plano, TX the Lange’s lived in Huntley, IL. They also lived previously in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI and Elk Grove Village, IL. Mr. Lange is survived by two children: Kristen of Shreveport, LA and Garrett and his wife Arlyna of Plano, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Michael, Nickolas, Nicole and Sierra and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Cuccia of Arlington, VA.
