So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time
You’ll forever be missed until we meet again…
RIP Richard Suddreth, my long-time next door neighbor and good musician friend. Praying for your family and friends.
Say hello to Christy and when I get there, lets play guitars again and go hunting for squirrels again. I miss that so much. Rest well Dad, until I get there and then we can go hunting. I love you so much
Richard was an A#1 Musician and recorded with our group,The Shady Grove Ramblers!
Very “witty” and fun to pick and sing with he was a singer who was able to harmonize any part needed!
He will be sorely missed by many!!
God has an excellent new member in Heaven!
God bless his family!

I unfortunately just learned about Richard’s passing a few minutes ago. I started playing mandolin when I was 15 and just a few years later wound up in a local band called Blackland Grass. Richard was our bass player. I consider him one of my biggest mentors from around that time period. He really taught me what my job as the mandolin player was within the band context. I’ll never forget his wisdom, friendship and obviously his first rate musicianship. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
Richard always treated me and my son well. It was an honor to get to play and sing with him.
Rest in peace, Step-grandpa, I am your Step-grandson, Daniel Hutchins, may the heavens bless you with all the things you earned… you lived a long life and and let the world know how you impacted their lives… I would’ve loved to meet to you, but I guess there’s always a heaven… thanks for your service good sir, and you’re always in All of our hearts forever…
