ANTONE “RAYMOND” PLASEK, JR., 77, of Plano, TX died peacefully at his home on 09/05/2020. He was born on 02/08/1943 in Ennis, TX to Antone Raymond Plasek, Sr. & Mary Rose Hrbacek Vrla Plasek, both residents of Ennis, TX. Raymond graduated from South Oak Cliff High School, In Dallas, TX class of 1962. After graduation Raymond went on to marry Knoxie Lee Phillips of Louisiana. They celebrated 55 years of marriage in November. They had 4 children Kendra Lee Plasek-Morse, Travis Winnford Plasek, Karl Derrick Plasek and Antone “Tony” Raymond Plasek, III. Raymond worked at Otis / Halliburton for many years where they sent him overseas to work in Africa, London, Scotland and Dallas, TX. He then went onto work at Bakers Thomasville Furniture where he retired. He often volunteered at Hope’s Door Domestic Violence Shelter, in Plano, TX. Raymond loved working on motor vehicles, he loved watching NASCAR and watching his beloved team the Dallas Cowboys. Raymond is survived by his devoted wife, Knoxie Lee Plasek; their two sons, Travis W. Plasek and his wife Genevieve Plasek and Antone “Tony” Raymond Plasek, III and his wife Adela Riojas Soto-Plasek. His grandchildren: Ronald Morse, Jeremy Gilbert, Stephanie Morse, Angela Plasek-McCray her husband Stephen McCray, Kevin Plasek, Ava Plasek, Karlee Plasek and his 3 great grand children: Holden Smallwood, Adrian McCray and Liam McCray and numerous nieces and nephews. Raymond is preceded in his death by his parents, his half-sisters Libbie Vrla Mageors of Euless, TX and Georgia Vrla Allums of Hurst, TX. His half-brothers: Frank Vrla, Jr., Milton Vrla, Emil Vrla, of Dallas, Texas. His daughter, Kendra Lee Morse. His Son, Karl Derrick Plasek and his grandson, Anthony Riojas Plasek. Funeral will be held at the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, TX 75234 on Monday, 09/14/20 at 11:00 a.m. Rosary is being held at the residence in Plano, TX. it is a sad day for all of us who loved him. I am saddened with his passing. I send my love and condolences to all who loved him.
