Words simply will never be able to express how much I will miss Mike. He was much more than a co-worker, he was my friend. A true friend. I am going to miss his funny comments, serious talks and his overall presence in my daily life. He has touched MANY people. He made me a better person, just knowing him. I will leave this with the words he used to close out every day. Good Talk, my friend, GOOD TALK!
Mike had a gift of making you feel like you were the only person in the room when he visited with you. You immediately felt the warmth of his friendship and could hear the sincerity in his voice. It made Mike happy if he could bring a smile to your face. His soft spoken demeanor and ability to calm you down after an unpleasant conversation with a customer was comforting. He encouraged you to achieve your goals and he was always willing to help others learn and grow in their careers. Though I only worked with Mike for two years he made me feel like I knew him forever and I was immediately in his circle of friends. We miss Mike deeply. We miss his smile. We miss laughter. And we miss him!
Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave and impossible to forget!
