Beloved Jarvis Llewellyn Smith age 62 changed forms at his home in Rowlett, TX on Tuesday November 03, 2020 and is rejoicing with our Father God. Born September 25, 1958 in Memphis, TN., he resided in Rowlett, TX. He attended Living Christ Church where he played his guitar and gave of himself. He drove trucks for Saia Motor Freight for 25 yrs with a long safety record. Survivors include beloved partner, Connie Marsh, Rowlett, TX., daughter Brooke Hughes and grandson Jaxson Bright, Wylie, TX. Daughter and son in law, Mindy and Mark Podborschi, Northlake, TX. Lauren Hughes and Mason Waggoner, Gun Barrel City, TX Two Brothers- Albert ( Queen) Freeman, Allen, OK. and Tony Smith of Memphis TN. Sisters- Lorena Edwards, Ada, OK, Myran (Leon) Stevenson of Memphis TN. and Anita Smith North Richland Hills, TX. Many Nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives and Church Family. He was proceeded in death by his brother Roland Smith, sister Brenda Smith and his parents George and Celestine Smith. Service date pending. It will be held at his resting place at Highland Cemetery 1620 Cemetery Rd. Durant, OK. 74701 His Family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, kindness and help during this time. Thank you Father God in the name of Jesus for all things. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.

I love you Uncle Jarvis and miss you. I’m thankful to our Father God for the many laughs and hugs we shared.

Jarvis was a father to me and will always be Jaxson’s sweet Papa. I am so thankful for the time we had together. Me and Jaxson will miss his laugh, dancing, and eating good food together. Rest in perfect peace. We love you, Jax and Brooke
