Obituary
Together Again, Ray and Becky will be laid to rest at 11:30 A.M., on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Raymond John Bromell was born on July 3, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Frank and Grace Goldsmith Bromell. Mr. Bromell passed away on June 29, 2013. He served our country in the United States Navy as a flight instructor during WWII. Ray graduated with honors in 1950 from Oklahoma University. He spent many dedicated years in the drilling business and taught drilling classes at Texas A&M and the OU where he also wrote curriculum. Ray loved to joke and laugh “If you can’t laugh, why live”.
Anne Rebecca Bromell was born on October 14, 1937 in Red Creek, Virginia to the late Denver and Bessie Lambert Smith. She passed away on July 26, 2013. She was a petroleum land man in the oil business. She loved her little dog CJ (Christmas in July) and horses “the most beautiful animal God ever created”. Becky had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.
Ray and Becky were married on June 12, 1999.
They were faithful members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano where Becky sang in the Choir and Ray helped run Saturday Night Children’s Church. They were involved in politics and even helped campaign for George H. Bush. Ray was a board member of Tell My People and Becky served Tell My People as well with her many talents and support. Ray and Becky were special to so many and they will be greatly missed by all who knew them.

Becky was a member of our P.E.O. chapter for many years. We loved her dearly. She hosted meetings at her house. We will remember her loving smile and friendship.
The P.E.O. Sisterhood welcomes another member to our Chapter Eternal. She will be missed and fondly remembered. We love and thank her for all her years of service and friendship and celebrate her life. Now the angels really can sing! Our condolences to those they left behind. We are so sorry for your loss. Ron and I wish to send our condolences to his family. Ray was a joy to work for and Becky was great fun. They both enhanced our lives and will truly be missed.
Becky and Ray were special people and devoted to each other. He care for her patiently and lovingly when her short term memory failed. They will be remembered.
