Lang, Franklin D.
Obituary
Franklin Lang, a life-long resident of Euless, TX, went peacefully to his eternal home on January 12, 2021. Frank was born in Slidell, TX on January 30, 1933 to Carl and Essie Lang. After high school, Frank served his country for four years with the United States Air Force, before moving on to his career with the Burlington Railroad. After 25 plus years he then enjoyed his remaining years in retirement. He married Rosa Bentley and fathered three children: Kathy, Janet and Mack Darryl Lang (Deceased). Frank was a devoted family man, who loved sharing his heart of gold with jokes and laughs. Whenever anyone went over to see him, he would absolutely light up as he opened his door. He loved his family so much, but would be the first to tell you that you were screwing up. He always had a project for anyone who came over whether it was wood work or yard work, he never sat still. The last couple of years, his health deteriorated, but the man was such a fighter. This last Christmas, he was in the hospital fighting for his life and requested to be released so he could spend Christmas with his family. He then took a turn for the worst a few days after. We know he’s now in heaven celebrating his arrival home with his son Darryl, and is no longer suffering in this dark world. Frank is survived by his wife, June Lang; his children Kathy Lang Anderson and Janet Lang Wright, Son-in-Law Ralph Wright; Grandchildren David Blanchard and wife Geri Blanchard, Josh Lang and wife Laura Lang, Shana Murphy and husband Stephen Murphy, Anthony Hadley and wife Skyler Hadley, Jimmy Don Hadley and Meshea Anderson; Great Grandchildren Brooke, Ashlynn, Peyton, Colton, Aiden and Damyon. A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on January 16, 2021 at the Aria Cremation & Funeral Homes on N. Belt Line with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Brother Johnny will officiate. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 1820 N. Belt Line Rd. Irving, TX 75061 13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. – 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18

Frank (Mack) was my Uncle. He was a wonderful man. He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye. I wish I would have talked to him more about his military service. What little I did hear is very impressive. He saved my life once when I was a little kid. He grabbed me before a bull got me. He will be missed. Prayers and hugs to the family.
R.I,P. Uncle Frank…You will surely be missed…Love you Aunt June
