Carrozza, Conchita (Bautista)

December 24, 1940 - May 10, 2021

Conchita (Connie) Bautista Carrozza, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Carrollton, Texas on May 10, 2021.

Born in Dallas, Texas on December 24, 1940, Connie attended Ursuline Academy, Holy Trinity Catholic School, and graduated from North Dallas High School in 1959. Connie met her husband of 57 years, Nicholas Carrozza while in high school. Connie and Nicholas were both head over heels in love with each other. Connie attended beauty school in Oak Cliff (Dallas) and worked at Otis Engineering until her first child was born in 1964. Connie was a devoted mother to her three children, Nicholas Carrozza Jr., Daniel Carrozza, and Holly Carrozza Haas. Aside from being a mother, she was a loving wife, sister, friend, and grandmother with a strong devout Catholic faith. Connie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching the Dallas Cowboys, reading, attending church, and sewing all her children’s clothes. Sunday dinners and church were most important to her. Connie made time for everyone, was a soccer mom, homeroom mom, and attended all of her grandchildren’s events. Connie was grateful to have traveled around the world with her husband, Nicholas, to places such as Mexico, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, and China.

Survivors include her sons, Nicholas Vincent Carrozza Jr. and Daniel Carrozza; her daughter, Holly Carrozza Haas; her son-in-law, David George Haas Jr.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Haas and Landon David Haas; her sister, Yolanda Atkinson; her brother, Robert Bautista; her brother-in-law, Paul Atkinson; her sister-in-law, Ruth Bautista; her nieces, Kelly Bautista and Melissa Dours; her nephews, Paul Atkinson, David Atkinson, Rick Bautista, and Robert Bautista.

Excellent customer service, they made you feel like you were their only customer. Very helpful and explained what we should expect during the process. They basically took care of our needs during this time. They contacted DFW National Cemetery for us which made it a smooth experience. Definitely will use them again.
