Tennyson M Tatro August 18, 1950-July 11,2021 Tennyson went by Ted, he was born in Detroit MI. The son of Tennyson E. and Doris Tatro. After graduating from Redford Union High School in 1969 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force working as a jet engine mechanic. He is survived by his loving and caring wife Susan, son Corey and daughter Missy, brother David and sister-in-law Donna, 5 grand children, and many nieces and nephews. Ted was my mentor at Big D. Ted and I worked together for 16+ years. Ted was old school and his training was very military like. He broke me down and then built me back up. I truly owe my career to Ted. His one liner jokes were endless and he could say them over and over every day and it still made me laugh out load. He was a special man and he treated me with such respect. He was a true team player and I will never forget our time together. Rest In Peace my friend and I will see you on the other side. Love you buddy!!!!
Ted was one of a kind, I have many words to describe Ted. The most meaningful one to me is “Loyalty”. He was loyal to his own way of doing and being. He took pride in all he did, if he said he would do something he did it, regardless of the obstacles he would need to overcome. He was fiercely loyal and dedicated to his wife Susan, he Loved her very much as he openly shared his feeling about her. We have missed him here at Big D, but we also know he earned his (second) retirement. Ted, thank you for the memories! Rest in Pease.
