Violet Irene Fetterolf Johnson of Plano TX passed away on August 30, 2021. Born on March 3, 1924 in Klingerstown, PA. Violet moved to Baltimore in 1942 where she resided until moving to TX in 2019.
During WW II, Violet worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” at Martin Marietta in Middle River, MD. Later she worked part time for 17 years retiring from Maryland National Bank as a bank teller.
Violet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother as well as a caring, cherished friend to many. Her hobbies included reading, playing cards and games, and she loved socializing.
Preceded in death by her mother, Blanch Beaver, her husband Melvin Johnson, brothers John Beaver and Harry James Beaver.
Survived by and cherishing her memory, daughters Sharon Butler (Bill) of Carrollton, TX., Janet Busler (Dean) of Roswell, GA, grandchildren Gregory and Douglas Butler, Rachael and Naomi Busler, sister-in-law Sally Beaver, nephew Ted Landis and niece Lucille Gibson.
Services will be held at a later date in Baltimore, MD.
