To Pete's Family - I was so saddened to hear about Pete. I spoke with him on the telephone just a couple of months ago, and thought how good it was to hear from him. As his classmate, I have some really good memories, and I know that you all have many, many wonderful memories. My prayers are with you -"Stand firm in the Lord...And the peace of God will be with you."
Sincerely, Judy Markham

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of Pete Nelms, my GHS classmate and longtime, personal friend.

The Nelms family was so gracious to allow me to conduct the funeral service at First United Methodist Church in Gilmer for Juanita Nelms.

Amazingly, our Lord has a word for every heartache, a touch for every wounded spirit, and a comfort for every tear.

God bless all of you in these days that lie ahead.

Precious and cherished are the memories I have of Pete.
