To the Rubalcado Brothers and Sisters: I am sad about the loss of your brother and my Cole Avenue neighbor, Chanito. My thoughts and prayers are with you today. I am sorry I will not be able to be with you on Tuesday. I will be out of town. It's been over 30 years since we both left Cole Ave. It's time we have a Rubalcado/Gonzales gathering. I'll be happy to host that day. Will keep in touch with you. God bless all the family and each one of you. Con amor y carino.

Mary Jessie,
My deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband, my Godfather. It has been many years since we've seen each other but you and Chano were always in my thoughts. I remember when you both would come by to visit my parents (who have both passed away). May Chano be in heaven now and resting in peace. My prayers are with you.

Chano, you will be missed and loved always. I wish we had kept in contact more and that I would of had the chance to say goodbye... but goodbyes are not forever and I know one day we will see each other again. I know you are up in heaven with mom and dad looking over the rest of us. I love you Chano and I wish I had said it more often....
