Obituary
John Raymond Jeffcoat, 46, of Irving, Texas, passed away at his home on Friday, December 20, 2013, after a courageous struggle with cancer. He was born May 28, 1967, in Irving, Texas, the son of Ruth Jeffcoat and Raymond Jeffcoat. John graduated from Irving High School, in Irving, Texas, with the class of 1985. He was employed by Darr Equipment Company. John is survived by his mother, Ruth Jeffcoat of Irving, his father, Raymond Jeffcoat of Irving, his sister, Marvel Jeffcoat, and her fiancé, Dan Kessler of Fort Worth, his aunt, Marvel May of Wichita, Kansas, and other relatives and friends. The family is grateful for the compassionate care from Tom Parks, who took care of him during his illness. John will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and caring sense for others. The service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Luke Catholic Church, 202 South MacArthur Blvd, Irving, Texas 75060. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service and restaurant reception following. Memorial donations may be made in his name in lieu of flowers, to the American Cancer Society, at https://donate.cancer.org Please send the family condolences and sign the guest book on this site. John was my frind for over 40 yr’s. we grew up togather and along with Jeff McGuire and other ones on the block we were very fornunit to have lived close to each other for so many year’s. I want to express to his mom ,dad and sister marvel my prayers and thought’s. John was one of a kind he was a joker and lauphed all the time. I could go on and on but I am a better speaker than typest so I would love to sit and tell the family the story’s and show them the pictures i have of john when he and i were about 8 or 9 at one of my birthday events when we went to Lion Country Safarie and then another to six flag’s. he was my frind and will ever last in my memory’s for the rest of my life apon this earth. God bless you John you will be missed.
I would love to be able to speek if at all possable at his memorial to express my heart felt joy for knowing him because i feel i was blessed by being able to have him in my life along with his family.
