Ervin, James C.

September 9, 1930 - December 18, 2013

James C. Ervin, age 83, of Dallas passed away on December 18, 2013.  He will be dearly missed by “Headquarters” and his family.

Jim worked for Mobil Oil for 28 years.  During his employment, he lived and worked in many foreign countries and retired at the age of 55.  He always wanted that his lifetime membership of the American Airlines Admirals Club be mentioned in his obituary!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s honor to The Salvation Army DFW Metroplex.

A memorial service will be held at some time in the future.

Arrangements are under the direction of

Gesina, sad to receive the news of Jim’s passing. Carolyn let me know, and she in turn had heard from old friends from Anaco. Many years have come and gone since we last visited and had dinner in Caracas, I think it was. Fond memories of that and many other good times. Jim was a role model for those of us who had the good fortune and pleasure to work with him at Mobil in the early years of our careers. Jim will be missed by many & you’ll be in my thoughts. Un abrazo fuerte. John Lowrey (from Papua New Guinea)

Excellent customer service, they made you feel like you were their only customer. Very helpful and explained what we should expect during the process. They basically took care of our needs during this time. They contacted DFW National Cemetery for us which made it a smooth experience. Definitely will use them again.
