My sincerely sympathy to you all. Nancy and I belonged to FAAS together and shared a lot of interests in animals. I was so sorry to hear about her health and we will miss her a bunch at FAAS and even walking in the neighborhood with Cerci.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Remember all the good times, it is what keeps you going when the going gets rough. Love and Hugs, Connie
My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy’s family… I did her hair for the last ten years and have had many wonderful times with her, I will miss her so much!
Nancy and I volunteered together at the Arlington Animal Shelter. She was always warm, kind, and hard working and never failed to thank people for coming in. I quickly grew very fond of her and am so sorry that she has gone so soon. My best wishes to her family.
I’m was Ms. McInnis kindergarten class of ’86 @ Bonham . She was hired on during the school year and I was moved into her class ( I gave a great memory to remember that clearly ) and after all these years I stayed in contacted with her not as often as I would’ve liked but after all these years from 5yrs old to now 34yr Ms. McInnis was obviously my favorite teacher ( she’s the only one I’ve ever stayed in contact with ) she definitely left a footprint in my heart and I haven’t and will never forget you Mc.Innis !!
I enjoyed teaching with Nancy at Bonham Elementary. She was always enthusiastic and ready to go. She touched so many children’s lives in such a positive way. She will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
I knew Nancy through FAAS. What a funny lady, I always looked forward to seeing her at the meetings and talking to her. She loved the animals, and she is now their angel.
Rest in peace Nancy, I will miss you.
I had the pleasure of volunteering with Nancy in FAAS and at Arlington Animal Shelter. She had a smile that lit up the room and was one of the kindest ladies I have ever known. I am honored to have known such a wonderful and kind soul. My condolences to Nancy’s family and friends. She will be missed.
Expressing deepest sympathies to the family. She held a special place in our hearts.
I will so miss Nancy’s beautiful smile that lit up the whole room. We volunteered together with the FAAS (Friends of Arlington Animal Services) and her enthusiasm and positive spirit were contagious. She was compassionate to everyone from her friends to all creatures and we all loved her. Condolences to her family. It was too soon.
My condolences and prayers for Nancy’s family. I knew her through FAAS (Friends of Arlington Animal Services). Whether she was at FAAS or volunteering at the Animal Shelter, her positive attitude was amazing. Her beautiful smile lit up the whole room and her compassion for her friends and all creatures was inspiring. We will so miss her and all she has brought to our group. RIP Nancy.
Nancy and I began teaching at Bonham the same year along with Kim Larson & Judy Erwin. She and Kim were always together and always made us laugh. Although I haven’t seen her much since she left Bonham, but still considered her a good friend. Rest in peace friend.

Oh my god my best friend is gone. You were the only one who stuck with me through thick and thin and vice versa! I will miss you so much Nancy! And I will always love you my friend!!!
Nancy will be deeply missed by all she came in contact with, she was one of my favorite yoga students, her energy will be missed
Janet, Bill & Patty,
I just learned of Nancy’s passing and am so sorry. We were best friends in high school and I have thought about her a lot in all these years. My deepest condolences to you all. I was surprised to see her last name McInnis which is my grandparents name, same spelling. Was she married in saginaw? I would love to know a little about her life after high school.
I loved Nancy with all my heart. It was at the end of her life that we became best friends. We had so much in common, including her love of jewelry. As we were both in the Egyptian society together, she gave me a lovely sphynx necklace and bracelet for the months we spent in a backyard makeover. We had such fun and I will never forget her!
I met Nancy in Yoga class. She was a such a sweet soul, so giving. She was driving a brown BMW Z8 at the time and had her own punk rock style with short colorful spiky hair. I moved into her neighborhood on Pinwood Circle and I would pick up her tons of mail when she was out of town. I also used to attend her Egyptian parties. They were a lot of fun. The food was great and we smoked the Hookah. Her house was decorated with Egyptian artifacts, and she would travel to Egypt every year!
