Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Lane passed away on January 13th, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held at the Irving Bible Church on Saturday, January 18th at 10 a.m. Elizabeth was born on March 3rd, 1960 and grew up in Fort Worth and Arlington. After falling in love with traveling, her passion and pastime turned into her profession when she became a travel agent. On St. Patrick’s Day in 1983, she shared her first date with the wonderful man she would fall in love with. He became her husband on June 23 of that same year. They shared almost 30 years of marriage together, making memories that will certainly endure. Elizabeth was a great citizen of the Irving community. She helped hundreds of young girls grow up and become amazing women through dance and cheer. A kind, loving and giving friend, she was a mother to all she met. Elizabeth possessed a generosity that could rarely be matched. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, and mother and we are all blessed to have been a part of her life. She is survived by her husband Darrell Lane, mother Sue Parsons, and sister Mary Parsons-Finnell, husband Trey Finnell, and daughter Scarlett. Elizabeth and Darrell had four fabulous children together. They include Jennifer and husband Mark Bonnaci, Eric, Heather and, husband Trey Story and baby Story, and Victoria. When she and Darrell married, she also became the mother to four wonderful children who were always ‘hers’ from the beginning. They are Danelle, Shannon, Brande, partner Gerard Martinez and their children Dominic and Sonya, and Richard, fiancee Macy Kauffman, Richard’s children Mason and Ethan, and Macy’s children Ellis, Henry, and Davis. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her brother Stewart Parsons. She is survived by his children Lauren, and husband Tavare Raglin and their children Thorne and Trace, and Jeff and Katy.
