Mrs.degarmo was my pace teacher at dancehall for as long as I could remember. so much of me is made from what I learned from her. she wasn’t just my teacher, she didn’t just teach us the facts, she was an inspiration . she will always be my favorite teacher. I remember her telling us stories and playing games with us ,I remember her pushing us to our limits, helping us achieve our goals, she encouraged us to make a difference and dream. she was an amazing teacher and I will always be grateful for what she taught me and the impact she has made on ny life.

What an inspiration…always with a smile on her face! She focused on others rather than herself. We were so blessed to have her at Meadows! I miss you, Jackie!

It was my great pleasure to work with Jackie at Meadows Elem. We had many wonderful talks about “Life”. I will never forget her engaging smile and laugh, and especially her determination to accomplish as much as she possibly could every single day. The kids have shared endless stories of happy and funny times with Jackie and I know their lives are greatly enhanced because of having the joy of calling her “teacher”.

Jackie was the most wonderful teacher! I know because she was my fourth grade teacher and I will never forget her love of learning, the genuine smile she had for every child in her classroom, and the creative activities she gave us the opportunity to experience. I had the pleasure of teaching with Jackie after growing up, and she remains one of favorite people. She made every conversation special and she loved life. I will miss her dearly and will be in prayer for her family and friends.

I want to let you know that you were a great Aunt. You were always full of laughter and very kind. You were a wonderful host and I will cherish the memories of our time together this summer, as well as when I was a kid in New York, Connecticut, and Florida. I still remember driving the boat on the Long Island Sound, our trip to the Statue of Liberty, and going to the New York Mets game with you. I am happy you were able to read at my wedding, and I love looking at the pictures of how much fun we had together. You will be greatly missed, and our memories together will be in my heart forever.

Jeff, I have such great memories of your mom when we were growing up. She was so fun and silly. She took us everywhere in that orange Volkswagen bug! Please try and think of all those great memories during this sad time.

Jackie, what a blessing you have been in my life! What tremendous impact you have left on me and my entire family. You were a total inspirational icon that we all loved so dearly. Friends walk in your life, but so few are embedded the way you are. I love you with all my heart and it is going to be such a tough journey without you. I know that you fought hard and I know all the reasons why. What great times we have had and I will always cherish all the fun and crazy things that we were totally guilty of doing. I know you loved your service, with such great friends and family sharing tears and laughter. You will forever be in my heart!! Save me a place!!

I am so sorry to have been unable to attend Jacqueline Ann’s memorial service. A friend for so many years through thick and thin! Jackie and I laughed like school girls- sometimes until we cried- I am sure there were wonderful memories shared – she had so many friends! Our Vineyard summers will never be the same without her-but her spirit will be there forever.

"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"
