Leatrice “Lea” May Wright, 83, of Frisco, Texas, formerly of Waterloo, died Jan. 31 of congestive heart failure. She was born in 1930, daughter of Neil and Margaret Winslow. She married William Cook, and later married Calvin Pump; they both preceded her in death. Lea is most famous for being in the act “The Cycling Winslows” in the 1940s. She attended Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and Nazareth Lutheran Church.
Survived by: four daughters, Pamela (Darwin) Moore, Candice (Allen) Saunders, Judith (Richard) Michael and Lisa (Linwood) Jarratt; a son, Vincent (Judy) Cook; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Benjamin (Maria) Winslow.
Preceded in death by: her parents.
Services: will be a private ceremony with family.
Memorials: may be directed to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000
Lea invited Jesus into her life and is now walking in the streets of Gold with her beloved Cal.

Dear Pam & Family,
My sympathy to you. I was saddened to read that you lost your mom. I remember her making us whole wheat pancakes for breakfast once when I spent the night with you. I had never had them before, and I was worried that I wouldn't like them! I did. I hope your wonderful memories comfort you. Take care.
