Obituary
Jean McColl Kelley, 73, of Irving, Texas passed away on February 6, 2014. She was born in Scotland on February 27, 1940. Jean is preceded in death by her parents Frazier & Annie Grubb. Jean is survived by spouse, Edward Kelley; children, Pamela Bennett, David & Paul Kelley; grandchildren, Shawn and Brett Bennett, Scott, Grant, Andrew, Chad, Courtney, and Collin Kelley; brother, David Grubb. She was affiliated with the Goldwing Club and volunteered at her church. She enjoyed shopping, riding the motorcycle with Edward and traveling with the entire family. Jean was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 9, 2014, from 7pm – 9pm at the Aria Memorial Chapel in Irving. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 10, 2014. Please send the family condolences and sign the guest book on this site. I find myself very blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing you Jean. You were such a special loving lady that had so much love for her family, most of all her grandchildren. I know you will be missed by all,but there are so many memories to look back on. I was so blessed to have you in my life. Your kindness, love and caring ways were like a light beam in our family that brightened our days. I always looked forward to parties, birthdays and holidays because I knew you would be there to share your radiant smile and to give a hug. I know you will continue to be there here with us though looking down from above wishing us all peace and love. You will forever be in my heart.
She was a firey Scot till the very end.She is gone from her earthly body, but she is in a better place now.We will see her again in heaven.She will be in peace knowing I will take good care of her daughter, and do my best to keep her family together till we meet again.
Momma Kelley was a wonderful woman.She always treated me like one of her own when we were growing up,and she is truly going to be missed by all.I love you
