Obituary
Fred Franklin Zoeller, 84, passed away Monday, March 17, at Silverado Living in Plano. Frank was born July 26, 1929, in Boerne, TX, to the late Fred and Attie Garner Zoeller. He was a fifth generation Texan and descendant of two original settlers of Boerne. Frank is a graduate of Southwest Texas State (now Texas State University) in San Marcos, TX. After graduating with a BS in Chemistry, he joined the U. S. Army in 1951, serving in the Korean War. He married Barbara Broussard in January, 1954. They lived in Ennis, TX, where Frank was a chemist. In 1957, he joined Cabot Corporation and retired in 1994 after 37 years in chemical sales. He has lived in Dallas over 45 years. Frank was a member of VFW Post 3530, Richardson, TX, Seekers Sunday School Class and Spring Valley United Methodist Church, where he was an usher for 15 years and participated in many church programs. After the onset of Parkinson’s Disease, Frank was active in the Parkinson Voice Project, where he benefited from the treatment. He was a member of the Angry Men Group at PVP. Frank is survived by his wife, Barbara; a son, Dr. Mark Zoeller, of Little Rock, AR; a daughter, Anne Fullerton and husband, Grant, of McKinney, TX; grandchildren Melissa and Patrick Fullerton; brother-in-law, James E. Broussard and wife, Kathy, of Huntington Beach, CA. The family is deeply grateful to the staff and caregivers at Silverado Living in Plano for their excellent and loving care. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 28, at 10:30 am at Spring Valley United Methodist Church, 7700 Spring Valley Rd., Dallas, TX 75254. Donations may be made to the church, or to Parkinson Voice Project, 646 N. Coit Rd., Suite 2250, Richardson, TX.
