Raggio, Jeffrey T.

March 6, 1985 - May 3, 2014

Jeffrey Taylor Raggio. If life is measured by how much you love and are loved, Jeff Raggio’s all too short life was rich indeed. He had a kind heart and a quick wit, was a prolific reader with an encyclopedic memory and was a fabulous cook who loved to entertain friends and family. He was proud to have joined his family law firm in 2011 to carry on the legacy begun by his grandparents Grier and Louise Raggio in 1956. Jeff, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend was born on March 6, 1985 and died on May 3, 2014 in a tragic 4-wheeler accident. He was a graduate of Highland Park High School (2003) where he played varsity soccer and participated in the Academic Decathlon. After graduation from Goucher College near Baltimore in 2007 with a BA degree in political science, he attended SMU Law School, graduating in 2011. He then joined the Raggio Family Law firm as an associate, working alongside his father and uncles. Jeff served as the 2013 Co-Vice-Chair and 2014 Co-Chair of Legalline, a public service program of the Dallas Bar Assoc., offering free legal advice to the public twice a month. He had a true passion for this program and was very committed to its success. He was also active on the Dallas Bar’s Admission & Membership, Legal Ethics and Community Involvement Committees. Jeff is survived by his parents, Ken and Patty Raggio and brother Captain Michael Raggio, USAF, girlfriend Emily Sterry, aunts, uncles and cousins, numerous friends, and professional collegues. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday May 8th at 2 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church of Dallas, 4015 Normandy, Dallas 75205 and there will be a reception afterwards. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Legalline (Dallas Bar Assoc. Community Service Fund, 2101 Ross Avenue, Dallas, TX 75201) or the charity of your choice .

Nancy Killam says:

My deepest sympathy to you all, Patty, Ken, and Michael.
I have such fun memories of Jeffrey and actually have told a “Jeffrey story” many times over the years! ( I was showing a fireman holding a hose spraying water with the burning buildings behind him. Jeffrey said “but Mrs. Killam, the fire is behind him”! 450 children had seen the same picture and no one, including me, had ever noticed that!! I know you all have wonderful memories and will miss him terribly.
With sympathy, Nancy Killam, formerly 3yr old teacher at CCDC

Excellent customer service, they made you feel like you were their only customer. Very helpful and explained what we should expect during the process. They basically took care of our needs during this time. They contacted DFW National Cemetery for us which made it a smooth experience. Definitely will use them again.
