Walter Dewaine Walker 69 of Arlington passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
He was born in Frankston, Texas, January 9, 1945.
Walter was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam Conflict.    He was a highly decorated parachutist and was wounded while serving his country.
He is survived by 5 siblings, His Sister Becky Nix and husband Andy, Brother Thomas Walker and sister Wanda, Sister Nancy Curiel and husband Alex, Brother Donny Walker and wife Jacki, and Sister Janice Hawthorne and husband Butch.
He was a loving Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
Bud & Rachel Walker and a brother Ronny Walker.
He loved life and lived it to the fullest.
There will be a celebration of life on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home chapel with inurnment to follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
