Jim’s life was full of love and laughter. He always looked for the good in people and encouraged everyone to do the right thing no matter the price. His passion for the people and the game he loved was undeniable and it showed through his actions. During his tenure as president of the Texas Bowling Centers, his greatest accomplishment was being one of the founders of the Grand Prix youth scholarship program which gives scholarships to youth bowlers based on their participation and dedication to the sport. His greatest source of pride came from his family. He always had a joke or story to tell and knew just how to make you smile. He will leave a legacy of memories for all who knew him. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Lions and Kiwanis clubs and he received many awards from various charitable organizations because of his selfless service to others.
