Obituary
Clifford L Roberts went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 25th at the age of 87. Cliff was born on November 19, 1926 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He served in the Army during WW II. He lived and worked in Dallas for many years, primarily working in the surgical supply business. Eventually he moved to Mineola,Texas where he owned Mobil Power Wash and many other small businesses. Cliff was known for his generosity toward both friends and strangers. He loved helping those in need, caring about their spiritual needs as well as their physical needs. He also had a great sense of humor and loved to tease his family and friends. In the past few years he enjoyed living in Dallas again. Regardless of where he lived, he was always involved in a local church, and loved to teach and study the Word of God. Cliff was a devoted husband and a faithful friend.
Cliff was preceded in death by his previous wife, Lillie Mae Roberts, his son Tim Roberts, and his daughter Melanie Billington. He is survived by his wife Marcia Roberts, half brother Jim Fortson, half sister, Sally McCoy, son Phil Roberts and his wife Candice, son Mark Roberts and his wife Lisa, stepson Wayne Roberts and his wife Debbie, and stepson Randy Roberts and his wife Heidi, as well as grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be at 1pm on Tuesday June 3, 2014 at Bethel Worship Center 2973 E. Hwy 80, Mineola, TX . (Just 5.7 miles east of Mineola on Hwy 80).
