Ellis, Cindy M.
Obituary
Cynthia (Cindy) Marie Ellis, 44 of Oak Lawn & Uptown Dallas was called from this life to the next on Sunday, 18th of May, 2014. Cindy was born the 17th of July, 1969 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was adopted and raised in Orange County, California where she developed a loved & appreciation of the ocean & dolphins. She moved to the DFW area in 1991, at the age of 21 years. She settled in working in retail, until 2001; when she was rendered unable to work because of disability. We met the 28th of September, 1998 and truly had Love at First Site. We exchanged vows and rings in front of a minister on 23rd December, 2005. Cindy attended and enjoyed serving as an Usher at COH for several years. Cindy is survived by her partner of 14 and a half years, Susan V. Ellis and their cats. Cindy is also survived by many friends. A service celebrating Cindy’s life will be held on Thursday, 12th of June, 2014. Rev. Elder Lillie Brock will be officiating. Cindy will be interred at a private family cemetery.
One note I know Cindy would want me to make for anyone in a relationship not officially recognized by Texas, get an Appointment of Agent to Control Disposition of Remains, signed, notarized and kept in a safe deposit box. The cost of notary and safe deposit will be small to ensure your last wishes are carried out.
Please send the family condolences and sign the guest book on this site.
