Joshua Mark Hector, age 27, of Carrollton, Texas was called home to God on June 14th 2014 surrounded by family & friends. Josh was born March 15th 1987 in Midland, Texas to Denise and Mark Hector.

Josh is survived by his parents, his son, Joshua Hayden Wayne Hector, brother, David Aaron Lee Hector, sisters, Kami Danielle Hector and Kendra Michelle Silhan, nieces, Skylee Danielle Hector and Dakota Silhan, nephew, Landon Allen Ray Poer, grandparents, Linda and William “Dub” Campbell and David E. Josh was a man of love, laughter & good times. He enjoyed going to the lake, taking care of his son & dogs, making music, looking good and, most of all, spending time with family and friends. There was never a dull moment when Josh was around. He took life by the horns and lived life like there was no tomorrow.

A mother should never have to know the pain of having to bury a son, yet it happens all too often. I can’t imagine all you are going through. Take comfort in the fact that you have a small piece of Josh still here on this earth that you can love and nurture. My boys were very close to your beloved son. He made us laugh. God bless.

I only got to know Josh recently, my daughter was a close friend of his. He stepped up for her when she needed a friend, and stayed by her side. I gained a great deal of respect for him during that time. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, as a Mother I cannot imagine losing a child. Josh will definitely be missed, he was a very special young man.

Breaks my heart to hear about Josh’s passing. He was my lil buddy when we were young. Always made everyone laugh. I can still hear his woody woodpecker laugh. So sorry Uncle Mark, Aunt Denise, Aaron and Kami for your loss. Thinking of you all and praying that God’s love will surround you and bring you comfort. Love y’all

Joshie, Joshie, Joshie…… you were one of a kind! My favorite kiddo. You made me laugh throughout your years and you always showed respect to me. I will miss you so much, but you have left me with happy memories and laughs 🙂 I feel guily of not keeping in better touch with you and the Family. I know through Facebook we used to comment on each others posts and encourage sobriety to each other. I know you are now at peace and can rest easy. Please give your Aunt a huge hug from me, i miss her dearly every day. save a spot for me up in Heaven and dont cause too much havoc 😉 i pray for your Mom and Dad, Aaron, your cousins, and escpecially Hayden and Kami. i know you are up there smiling down on that sister of yours. She is an inspiration and I am so proud of her.

"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"
