Obituary
Eva Hycinthia Flynn was born February 14, 1917 in La Boca Republic of Panama to James Edghill and Lydia (Baker) Edghill. Eva was the third of nine children. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age and as brought up in a strong Christian household by her Salvation Army parents. Eva prayed and worshipped the Lord daily throughout her life.
In 1940, she married Vivian Flynn from which that Union they had one daughter, Felicia and two sons, Ronald and Alberto.
After her husband’s passing in 1960, Eva immigrated to the United States in 1962, and took residence in Brooklyn, New York where she began worshipping at St. George’s Episcopal Church.
Eva was cherised by her family; daughter Felicia, son, Alberto and wife Blanca; 6 grandchildren, Jason and wife Christal, Dara and husband Marlon, Sean, Eboni, Stephen and Samantha. 4 great-grandchildren, Jason Jr., Darius, Talaya and Logan. Also, left to remember and miss her presence is her brother James Edghill.
She was preceded to heavenly glory by her sisters; Vida, Doris, Edna, and Beatrice; brothers: George, Joel and Lionel and son Ronald.
Eva leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Family will welcome friends of the family on Friday, June 20 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 6.
