Bekavac, Beverly "Jacque"
Obituary
Beverly “Jacque” Bekavac passed away at home in the loving arms of her husband early Sunday morning, June 15, 2014 ending her courageous battle with cancer. Weakened in body but never in spirit, she remained a joy to be with and will remain in our hearts. Jacque was born on April 15, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas and raised in Topeka. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to travel and enjoyed a road trip across Texas as much as a trip to Europe. Her greatest joy was to be with her children and grandchildren. Jacque was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and the North Dallas New Comers Association. It was her love for God and the support of her many friends that were a blessing throughout her journey. Her unique gift in life was to become friends with the kindest most generous people. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John D. Bekavac of Plano; daughter, Melissa Cruise of Illinois and three grandchildren, Cassandra, Andrea, and Matthew; son, Brett Bekavac and fiancé, Tasha Wilcox of Dallas. A celebration of life service for Jacque will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 23, 2014 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church 5801 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, Texas 75093. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Seven Loaves ministry or to the American Cancer Society.
