Padden, Joann B.
Obituary
Padden, Joann Beasley. Born with a paintbrush in her hand, a keen eye for design and color, and tremendous talent, Joann earned a degree in Fine Arts from Texas Christian University in 1951, and created an immense collection during her lifetime. Throughout her life, she showered love and attention especially on her family and really on everyone who took the time to get to know her. Delightful, funny, and intelligent, she had the kindest, softest heart in the world. She worried over the family pets with love and concern, along with creatures of all kinds and her beloved plants. Born at home in November, 1929 in Lebanon, TN to Albert “Doc” Beasley and Cora Lee Young Beasley, Joann married Michael Padden in Fort Worth in 1951, living in Brazil, Wyoming, and Tennessee among other places before being widowed at the age of 56. Moving back to Texas, her life revolved around her family and her art. Left to mourn her are her daughters, Michelle Maloney, and husband Michael, Tory Padden, Nicole Padden and Joni Padden; her grandchildren Emily Maloney Bickle and husband Morgan, JD Maloney and wife, Christy, Brandon Walston, Katie Walston, Rachel Walston and Michael Padden Clardy and great grandchildren Emerson and Kaspar Bickle.
