Moore, Harris G.

Born on August 30, 1922 and joined his beloved wife Joyce on July 5, 2014. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who retired with 25 years from the Garland Independent School District. He volunteered his talent and time in so many ways, as Troop Scout Master, at Baylor hospital, as an AARP Tax Service volunteer, as Eucharistic minister, as a master Gardner with the Texas Extension Agency and Arboretum docent. He was the type of person that we all hope to become – the kind of person who makes the world a better place. He is survived by his four children, Christine Johnston, Jane McGuigan, Ann Cabrera and David Moore. Six grandchildren Joe, Kevin and David Cabrera, Emily Guy, Elizabeth and Patrick Moore. He was preceded in death by his grandson Justin Reed and the love of his life, Joyce. The Moore family would like to thank Aria Funeral Home for their kind support. There will be a Celebration of Life memorial service at a future date in August.

I really don't know where to begin, my Uncle Harris was such an amazing person to all that knew him, he will be deeply missed, but I know he is so happy to be with the love of his life. May God ease the pain on his beautiful family he left behind. I only wish we lived closer so I could wrap my arms around them.i love u all and hope we can be together soon!! love you all!!!

What a wonderful picture of your Dad! Creighton and I remember him and all of you so fondly at the crawfish boils. What a great time we always had and we miss seeing all the cousins. I know your Dad is happy to be with Joyce. Love to you all! Yvonne and Creighton Dupont
