Walker, Luther Lyle
Obituary
Born in Santa Fe, NM to Geno and Roy Walker, both of who preceded him in death. Survived by wife Kathy Brown Walker and four sons and their wives: Layne and Sonya; Greg and Beth Anne; Scott and Kelly; and Trent and Melanie. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Justin, Cody, Jess, Case, Cole, Tyler, Kevin, Dylan, Macey, Kate, Natalie, and Blake, as well as his brother and wife, Gene and Phyllis Walker. Lyle graduated from SMU with a BBA and a law degree. After law school Lyle worked for the IRS for four years. He then returned to his hometown of Clovis, NM to raise his family and practice law. Though law was his chosen profession, Lyle’s family and his music were his passions. In 1982 he returned to Dallas to pursue business opportunities. For the past 25 years he has been actively involved in the music business.
Services will be in the Sanctuary of Highland Park United Methodist Church on Wednesday, July 30 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the following three ministries: Night OWLS at HPUMC or Oasis International Ministries at HPUMC, each at 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75205; or Dickinson Place, 911 St. Joseph Street, Dallas, Texas 75246.

Lyle was a wonderful man whom I was privileged to call a longtime friend…Will miss him greatly…
It is said the greatest desire of a parent is to leave this world knowing his children are leading happy and fulfilled lives.
Knowing Lyles family I know he left here having that desire fufilled in buckets.
It was an honor to have known you Lyle.
