He was a Construction Engineer most of his adult life. Before retiring in he owned and operated the family wood flooring manufacturing business in Midlothian, TX. After his retirement he donated his time and expertise in the design and engineering of the Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, TX.
His greatest treasure was his family whom he loved and provided for. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren completed his life and gave him great joy.
Before leaving his temporal body and this earthly life, he relinquished his soul to his Lord and is now in the presence of his Savior.
Donnie also enjoyed the mystery of Gods numbers and used them in his quest to invent. He also had three very special friends: Dr. Carl Baugh, Founder of the Creation Evidence Museum, Glen Rose, TX, Dale Caraway of McKinney, TX, best friend since the first grade (whom he visited with the last months of his life) and his school teacher Cybil Mitchell of Rio Rancho, NM.

Tina and Family,
Our hearts go out to you. The pain of losing a father is so raw. Rick and I both lost our fathers in the past 12 months. There was heartache, yet relief of suffering and joy, knowing they had excepted Christ and were saving by his grace. You know we love you and we are here if you want to chat. Love Rick and Sally
