Valerie
I’m sorry for your loss. I hope that family, friends, and memories of Tom offer you comfort during these difficult days. I’m sorry too that I am unable to attend the ceremony.
Dear all,
I sincerely send you my best wishes in this time of tremendous loss. Tom was a wonderful friend to me when I first arrived at Dallas and he was always responsive when I needed guidance. I know his loss will be painful to all of you. If I can help I any way, please let me know.
My thoughts are with Tom’s friends and family during this difficult time.
I didn’t have the chance to know Tom personally but I do know that he was an important part of the School and UT-Dallas. My deepest sympathy on your loss.
My deepest condolences to the Bower family for your loss.
Nick,Elanor, Clio and Penelope,
As you know, I knew your dad from his first days at UTD. He was a remarkable person, both intellectually and personally, and we had many long interesting discussions. While I have not seen any of you in years, I remember you all fondly, and you are in my thoughts.
Bert
I did not know Tom personally, but his influence at UTD lives on. I hope you find peace to bring you comfort in the days ahead and joy in the memories created over his lifetime.
