Our condolences to the Byrd family. I have fond memories of the Byrd family when we all lived in Big Spring in the same neighborhood. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this time of sorrow.

Uncle Robert was like my second father he will be dearly missed my ability to deal with the lost of him is knowing he is with his brother my father he may be gone but he will never be forgotten. And to his children my cousins always remember I’m here whenever u need me don’t hesitate to call love y’all

I was very fond of my cousins and I learn more about the man during the last 2 years of his illness. He truly love his family and encourage others to appreciate theirs. My prayers are with the family, God will get you through this.

I loved Robert cos he believed in family. He was the record keeper of our family. We would sit and laugh about back in the days for hours. I know that God is going to.keep and strengthen the family. I will continue to pray for my extended family.

I think of “Big Byrd” often. He was our co-worker at the high school and we have missed him so, since his retirement. I have missed seeing him and talking to him, as he would always brighten anyone’s day. He was a great man. God bless and comfort you. Remember, and smile.
