Obituary
Dianna Sue Burton, 62, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 3, 2014 in Dallas, TX. Known to her mother as Susie, she was born in Tulsa, OK to Robert and Kathleen Stites on January 4, 1952. Dianna was retired and enjoyed painting and crafting in her spare time. She recently moved to Texas where she spent most of her mornings peacefully in her favorite wooden swing.
Dianna was survived by her husband Dorvel Burton of Tulsa; mother Kathleen Stites of Tulsa; daughter Kathy Dinger and husband Shane of Flower Mound, TX; daughter Lisa Kepler of Catoosa; sister Bobbie Dubbs and husband Jerrold of Sand Springs; brothers Danny Stites of Tulsa; Wade Stites and wife Shenandoah of Catoosa and Steven Stites and wife Tammie of Tulsa; as well as her pride and joys in life, granddaughters Alisha Burton, Laykin Yarbrough and Kylie Dinger; grandson Austin ‘Bub’ Burton and great grandson Colt White and many nieces and nephews. Dianna was preceded in death by her father, Robert Leroy Stites and granddaughter Brittaney Kathleen Pressler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00am at Crossroads Church, 1310 W. 49th St, Tulsa, OK 74107. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas for their kindness and support in her final days.
