My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss. Although I never really got to know your mother/aunt/sister I have always admired her because of the good things I've heard about her from some of you. I know you will miss her greatly.

Betty was my supervisor at the HRC and I thought that she set the standard for fairness and hard work. I know how much she loved her family. My condolences to Jody and Michael and their families.

We've lost a good one.

Jody and Michael and families,

I am devastated to hear of the passing of your mother, and my friend and colleague, Betty. She was such a caring person, which made her a delight to work with, and loved you two sons so very much. May the grief not be overbearingly painful, as you remember the wonderful times with her, and may her presence be always with you and your families.

My condolences and prayers are with you,
Beverly Lewellen

Betty was my supervisor for many years when she worked at the Ransom Center. She was part-supervisor, part-Mom and a very good friend to me. I had heard recently she was ill but I was hoping she would beat the odds.

My thoughts and well wishes goes out to her family. She was a wonderful, fun person and her spirit will live on in our hearts and minds.
