Mullins, Amber M.
Obituary
Amber Michelle Mullins, 32, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 after a brief illness.
Born in Clinton, Maryland on May 10, 1982, to parents Jon Warren and Holly Grace Mullins, Amber graduated from Plano East Senior High School in 2000. She worked in various professions through the years, but no matter what she was doing, she never let her passion for helping others fade. She cared for those around her with love and gentleness, and she never turned away any in need—not even stray animals. The love she showed to her dog, cats, and even a turtle was incredible. In her spare time, she was an exceptional artist, particularly with watercolors.
She is survived by her parents, Jon and Holly, her grandmother, Hope Vayro, her brother, Perry Mullins, her boyfriend, Mike Ruffalo, and his family. A requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th at 11:00am at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 2200 18th St., Plano, Texas 75074.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amber’s honor to Operation Kindness, 3201 Earhart Drive, Carrollton, Texas 75006.
