Tate, Ferris

Ferris Tate, age 71, of Celeste, passed away on Friday December 12, 2014.  Mr. Tate was born on April 6, 1943 in Rockwall County, Texas to William Andrew and Trudie Onie Smith Tate.  Mr. Tate attended the Baptist church.  He was a carpenter and an electrician. In life, he loved many things.  He was a true outdoorsman who always felt at home in the woods.  He loved to hunt.  He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  He loved animals, especially his horse Tomahawk.  He is survived by his wife, Susan Tate of Celeste; his daughter, Melanie Droblyn of Celeste; grand-children: Holly, Bridget, Jessica, Nevaeh, Tateum and Gunner; nieces, Shaney Tate and husband James, Deidre Tate McGinn and husband Matt; great nieces and nephews: Ryan, Jordan, Adreanna, Ashley, Jessica and Kassidy; a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.  A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Thursday at the IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills, Texas, Rev. Shane Davis officiating.  Aria Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of services.  Kenny Collins, Funeral Director.

Ferris,you were the best husband during our marriage.You were my very best friend.I am so lost without you being in our lives.You will never be forgotten.I know that one day I will surely see you again in heaven.God BLESS you my sweet love.Now you finally are a free spirit.Fly with the angels baby.I will always love you.

My heart goes out to Susan and the rest of the family. Just know that he was a good freind. He will be missed.
