June 12, 1953 - January 5, 2015

Richard Lee Fletcher of Dallas, TX passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at his home after a courageous battle against cancer.
Richard was born June 12, 1953 in Lexington, MA to Anna Hart and William Duley Fletcher II.
He attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst earning a BBA in accounting with honors and a CPA. He was an active candidate for the Level 3 Charter Financial Analyst. For over thirty years, he had a successful career pursuing his passion in finance and real estate investment. He enjoyed classic sports cars, mentoring others and witty conversation over a Starbucks coffee.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Sarah Coleman Fletcher. By his children who brought him so much joy: daughter Lauren Fletcher Clowdus and husband Bryan, daughter Amanda Lee Fletcher, and son Richard Zachary Fletcher. Siblings: William D. Fletcher III, Peter C. Fletcher, and Virginia A. Casey.
 

  Services will be held on Friday, January 9th at 1:30 PM in Cox Chapel at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75205.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to UT Southwestern Medical Center, P.O. Box 910888, Dallas, TX 75931-0888 or online at www.utsouthwestern.edu to support the research of Dr. David Gerber.
