Spencer Katz, age 49, of Dallas, TX died on February 2nd 2015.
Spencer was a sweet, gentle soul. Spencer suffered from mental illness since he was 12 years old.
Spencer will be missed by his wife Patricia, his mom and dad Norma and Mike, sister Elizabeth Zane, niece and nephew Audrey and Aiden, aunt and uncle Maxine and Norman Kane, cousins Andrea and Rob, Steve and Dara, Jon and Lisa, Sara and cousins Avery, Ella, Collin, Amelia and Ethan.
Spencer was bright, loved music, both listening to heavy metal, blues to jazz and playing his guitar. He also wrote poetry. His poetry was mostly about his mental illness and how he suffered trying to exist and overcome the side effects of the medications.
Spencer loved his family very much and cared about all people.
We all miss you and love you.
A memorial service will be held February 9th 2015 from 3-5pm at Aria Memorial Chapel 19310 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75252.
Visit with the Katz family at their home after the service.
