So sorry to hear of Aunt Jeans passing.
Jean was a very special person! Her mild manner, loving smile, and positive attitude were a great example for us all! She was dearly loved by her family and friends! Her sincere love of children was so endearing! Not just for her own grandkids/great grandkids, but for so many honorary grandkids/great grandkids! We can’t wait to see her beautiful smiling face in the paradise:)
I heard about Lilly Jean and Edna Moody last night when my sister Janice called. My thoughts and prayers are with their families.
Cousin – Jud Lilly
I remember Jean when she was a young nurse working in Charleston.
She was a dear cousin.
We all will miss Jean. That is all of her Spiritual Brothers and Sisters at the Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. This is where she worshiped our Loving God, Jehovah. Her beautiful smile and her short visits before the meeting program started will especially be missed by ALL! She would take her walker all around The Kingdom Hall and say “Hello” to everyone she could before Beverly could catch up to her and say “Mom, Come on it’s time for the meeting to start”. What beautiful memories! We are so sure we will see her again soon when she is resurrected back to life here on earth in perfect health. At that time, not only Jean, but my parents and millions of others will be back to live on this earth the way Jehovah God meant for it to be – Paradise
What a Wonderful Hope Jean had!!!
Wilma
We all called her Jean. All at the Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where Jean worshiped our God, Jehovah, will miss her beautiful smile and her short visits with everyone she could reach before the program started. She would take her walker around to everyone she could and visit a little while with each one. Beverly would have to go get her just before the program began. She would say “Mom, come on now, it’s time for the song”. Yes, Jean will be missed, but we all knew and shared her hope in the resurrection. We’ll see her again soon, when she is raised back to life in perfect health. At that time, this earth will be the beautiful paradise it was suppose to be from the beginning. What wonderful prospects Jean had to look forward to because of her faithful obedience to God’s Word!!

Beverly’s Sister-In-Law
I have known Jean since she and her family moved to Texas some 46 years ago. She became part of my extended family when her daughter, Beverly, married my brother. We have enjoyed many experiences together. In her last years I had the privilege of being her “substitute” nurse when Beverly was at an assembly. We had the time to eat together and talk. Since I am not far behind her in age we talked about our “ailments” often. I look forward to the time we can talk again but not about “ailment” because at that time no one will say “I am sick” according to Isaiah.
I really enjoyed seeing and talking with Jean at the Kingdom Hall over the last few years. She constantly had the biggest smile on her face and never did I hear her complain. I will miss you and hope to see you in the New System of Things where no one will be sick.
I am so sorry to hear that Jean has passed away, but very happy I was able to get to know her a short while. When I resumed my serving Jehovah, about five or six years ago, Jean was one of the first people that approached me. Such a sweet and loving smile, she ask if had just moved to the area and extended her hand to me. That one small jester will never be forgotten. Jean was faithful to our God Jehovah and in his memory she will be until, I along with all brothers and sisters that knew her, will look forward to extending our hand to her during the resurrection.
Wish I could be there to share your heartbreak but know that my prayers are directed to comfort you, Beverly, and all your family. Love you, Betty
Jean was a very sweet person. She always had a smile.
