Drummond, Hope S.
Obituary
On Feb 11, 2015, two days short of her 92nd birthday, a beautiful, intelligent, fun and caring woman left this world to join her mother, father, sister and brother. She took care of and helped many people in numerous charitable organizations as well as devoting years of volunteer work at St Patrick’s Catholic Church and Ladies of Charity. She played an active role in her grandchildren lives, taking care of them when their parents couldn’t. She was always there for her family and friends, during joyous occasions and difficult times. Our Mom placed her family first including the day she died. She held on until assured that the family would be fine and that Mike would take care of Dad. Then she waited until we left the room to go. She is whole again in body and mind. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 70 years (Henry C. Drummond), her children (Mike Drummond, Debra Drummond and Julie Drummond-Tommaney), seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Her quality of life diminished drastically this past year so passing was a blessing. She remains the pillar of our family.
