I met Marty when she was working with Nortel – she was a designer there and I worked with her on providing art for several of her projects. I enjoyed working with her – she had great taste, was very down to earth and had a great sense of humor. My condolences to her son — she mentioned him a lot and was very proud of him.
I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of Marty Buchanan. So young!
My son, Creed was friends with Will during pre-school years. Marty was a caring and involved mother. Fun loving and wanting only the best for her son.
My condolences to Will and all of her family.
So sorry to hear this. Marty was very talented and a part of many successes at Nortel for the Herman Miller Team. She will be missed.
Wirh a spirited laugh and a smile Marty did things with Grace. I traveled often with Marty and knew to confirm what pitted fruits she may find in salsa or salads and where she kept her epi pin in case the waiter made a mistake.
I have such fond memories of working with her.
Sorry for the families loss.
i am saddened to hear of Marty’s passing. One of my fondest memories is traveling to Canada with Marty and her excitement over seeing the fall leaves, something we Texans don’t get to see all that often. My condolences to her family.
Marty and I worked on project together while she was at Cantoni just last year. I always loved to hear her talk. Will, you were always in our conversations.Your Mom was a very special lady. My thoughts & prayers are with you and yours.
My heart is heavy with sadness to learn that Marty has passed away. We were so close for a long time and then lost touch. My heart goes out to Will, he was the light of her life. May she be resting in peace in Heaven with God and her loved ones. Amazingly thought of trying to contact her last week and see if she was still at Cantoni. Goodbye my dear friend, and Happy St. Patty’s day!
Just learned of Marty’s passing and it really saddened me. Marty was a fabulous person and I loved laughing with her at Nortel. I’ll always remember how nice she was to me. God rest your soul, Marty.
marty was the very most genuine person I ever knew. I was fortunate enough to be in the art department with her at north texas. she was kind to everyone and well balanced. her intuition about people was impressively perceptive. she laughed when I dropped my sketchbook when the nude model walked in on the first day of figure representation and we were friends ever since. rest peacefully Martha…
I just now found that Marty had passed. I was her support CAD person. I absolutely loved working with Marty. She was always a pleasure to work with and be around. Such a talented designer
