Obituary
Norma Jean Ellis, age 74, of Frisco, Texas passed away on March 29, 2015 in Plano. Norma was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado. When she was 10 years old, her family moved to Plainview, TX. where she graduated from Plainview High School. After getting married and having a son, she moved to Wyoming to pursue a career in the Oil Industry. In 1984, she moved to Dallas and worked as an administrative assistant for Placid Oil Company. In 1988, Norma embarked on a long career at the JCPenny corporate headquarters until her retirement. Norma enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was kind, giving, strong, and independent. She was preceded in death by her parents, Al D. and Ellen Maurine Fitch; sister, Ellen Magaro, and her son’s father, Elowyn V. Ellis. Norma is survived by her beloved son, Randal V. Ellis and Sharyn DeBonis of Frisco, Texas; brothers and sisters, Marian and Carroll Carthel, Logan and Sandy Fitch, Joyce McMillan, John and Sandy Fitch, and Joe Fitch; several nieces and nephews; beloved granddogs, Nikki and Abby and many dear friends. A Celebration of Life memorial gathering will be held from 1:00-3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10817 Red Cedar Drive, Frisco, Texas 75035. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of one’s choice.

Really sorry to hear you lost your Mom. The circumstances are very similar to those when we lost my Dad in 2012, so believe me, I understand what you’re feeling. I miss him every day, but I’m to the point the good stuff, the stuff that makes you smile, is what I remember. You’ll get there.

Prayers and sympathy for you and your family for the loss of your mother. Norma was very special to me and my Aunt Pauline James. Her help in caring for Frances Vance was invaluable. Norma was always so kind and considerate and compassionate in all that she did. I considered her as a friend and she wi be missed. I am praying for God’s grace and comfort for you and your family as you mourn her loss.
