Obituary
Lila Lee White was born in Dallas, Texas on January 1, 1956 to Paralee Scott & Lee Oliver White. Lila married Ronnie Wooten in 1971, they lived all over the Metroplex, from Wolfe City, Kaufman, Canton, to Mesquite and Dallas. They had 5 children, 2 children proceeded her in death, Clara Marie & Bambi Lynn Wooten. Surviving children are Ronald Wooten Jr., of Irving, daughter Christie & Steve Richards of Irving and daughter Lila Dawn & Cory Walker of Fort Worth. Lila married in 1986 to Harvey Lee Teel of Oak Cliff, together they adopted two children, daughter Jackie K. Burns of Toole, Tx and son James & DeAngela Weld of Dallas. Lila married Jimmy Strebeck in 1991, they blended their family and shared life with their step children. Jimmy Don Strebeck of Commerce, daughter Emma Mae & Jr. Harris of Irving. Son Jerry & daughter Peggy Strebeck both proceeded her in death. Jimmy C. Strebeck lost his battle with Cancer in April 2000. Lila finally met her soul mate in 2002, William Herron Jr. They lived in South Carolina for 7 years before returning to Lila’s hometown in Texas. Lila has several grandchildren. Her first grand child Brittany Wooten of Quinlan, Jessica Richards of Irving also proceeded her in death in 1998. Her first grandson Timothy Richards of Commerce and Rhonda Wooten also of Commerce. Megan & Ronald III Wooten of Scurry. Matthew Scott of Cash, Clara Morgan & Justin & Faith Walker of Fort Worth and Madison & Alyssa Anderson of Toole. Lila had two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jay Lynn. Lila had several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Lila had a love for animals and left behind her six little dogs, Sugar Pearl, Lucky, Dee Dee, Blackie, Whitey and Black Eyed Pea. Lila left this earth on March 27, 2015. She died at home. Lila was a unique person, with a feisty attitude, she loved being surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed making handmade gifts and other arts and crafts for those near to her heart.
