Karen and family – you have our sympathy on the loss of your mother. She was a fine person and had a positive impact on both my life and my wife’s life. She taught me in 3rd grade at Erick and my wife Barbara in 7-12 at Sweetwater. May God comfort all of you during this time.
Karen, Jana, Prock family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Prock was one of my favorite teachers at Sweetwater. She had me well prepared for college English and that helped in my other classes too. She influenced my life in many ways and is someone I will remember all of my life.
Mrs. Mabel Prock was truly a wonderful person and a great teacher. I have always remembered her warm smile and her genuine interest in every student. The world would be much richer if more teachers were as caring and knowledgeable as she. I am very happy to have been in her English class during my senior year in 1959 at Sweetwater High School.

Karen and Jana – Mrs Prock was my wonderful 5th and 6th grade teacher at Hext. I will never forget her.
Karen and Jana.
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mother taught me English in Sweetwater. She had a tremendous influence on my life. I thought she was the toughest teacher in the world and complained constantly. But she saved me in college. I was told that freshman English caused more college dropouts than any course. It was a breeze thanks to her. I did tell her that later. No one in college believed my stories abo,ut how she forced you to do your best. So I once turned
in a theme she graded as a c+. Got an A. This paragraph would probably get a c. A great lady.
